                eg.- People are more interested in reading fiction than the real stories.

2) travelogue- (n)  a book based on the examples of travelers.

3) memoir - (n) a historical account or biography written from personal knowledge.

                eg. - 'My Days is the memoir written by R. K. Narayan.

4) amid (prep)  in or into the middle of, surrounded by 

                eg. - He is living amid of the unfavourable conditions.

5) unpredictable - ( adj) not able to be judged, unpredictable or guessed

                eg. He has really an unpredictable personality. 

6) compassionate - (adj) feeling or showing sympathy and concerns for others.

                eg. R K Narayan's writing  is compassionate towards the common Indians.

7)  grounded - (adj) well balanced and sensible

                eg. Rohit has a grounded personality

8) humour - (n) funny and amusing quality

                eg, R. K. Narayan's writing is with full of humour

9) coveted - (adj) - to want to have something  very much

                eg. - She got the coveted  'Best Student of the Year' award this year too.

10) offend - (v) to hurt somebody's feelings or to upset somebody

                eg. I was offended by his rude remark

11) genial - (adj) pleasant and friendly.

                eg. My father has a very genial personality.

12) elegance - (adj) with grace, dignified, with richness

                eg. - There is always an elegance in Amitabh's voice.

15) mystic- (adj) something that relates to supernatural powers

17) resplendent - (adj) Bright, shining, and dazzling, impressive

                eg. The resplendent strips are needed on bicycle to run it at night.

19) gleam-  (n) a sudden expression of an emotions in somebody's eyes

                eg. The second wave of Corona have enhanced the possibility of transmission of the disease.

21) whiskers- (n) the part of the beard growing around the cheeks.

                eg. The animals like cats have whiskers.
